Calmette, who claimed that tuberculosis could be prevented by vaccination, 1921-1931; Calotabs, a cathartic which was also promoted as a cure for "colds" and a variety of other illnesses, 1917-1944; Cameron Heartometer, a machine to measure blood pressure, pulse and various heart functions, 1938-1970; and Camphenol, a disinfectant produced by Johnson & Johnson for treatment of wounds, cuts and other injuries, 1910-1946.
